Fonts, photographs and skin tones

Every font in the preview is open source, published under the SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. That means it is free to use, including for tattoos, engravings and products you sell. Designs you download from this site are yours to use.

The fonts come from the Google Fonts collection and are hosted on this site, so loading them never contacts another server. Fonts without a Reserved Font Name have been trimmed to the characters the site needs. Fonts with one are served exactly as published.

The skin tones in the previews come from the Monk Skin Tone Scale, developed by Dr. Ellis Monk with Google and licensed under CC BY 4.0. Tones between the ten on the scale are blended by this site and aren't part of the official scale.
